Who We Are
Heritage Group started life in 2007 as Bayon Heritage Holding Group Co., Ltd with a single-minded focus on agriculture. This focus on agriculture stems from our upbringing; we grew up in the country side, where our lives were in rhythm with the rice-growing seasons. Our first business imports and distributes high quality fertilizers from Japan. In 2009 we established our second business, Signatures of Asia, to manage the milling and exportation of high quality Cambodian rice. In 2016, we entered a joint venture with Nangoku, a Japanese fertilizer producer. With the joint venture, we built a fertilizer production plant which with its local sourcing and production, we were able to sell Japanese quality fertilizers at affordable prices. Aside from agriculture, we run two businesses in F&B and automotive lubricants sectors. Going forward, we will remain firmly rooted in agriculture-related businesses. Fertilizer and rice will always be our core sectors. Apart from the core sectors, we are open to venture into new sectors outside of agriculture. Our entrepreneurial instincts will guide us should we see new opportunities and we believe diversification will make us more resilient to market forces. No matter how we evolve and grow, one thing is for certain – we are committed to a more equitable Cambodia and inclusive prosperity for all.
The Heritage Group started life 15 years ago with a single-minded focus on agriculture. We grew up in the countryside where our rhythm of life was intimate relationship with the land and ebb and flow of the rice growing seasons. This relationship powerfully steered us toward the decision to go into a joint venture with Japan-based Nangoku in 2007 to setup and produce Cambodia’s first Japanese Organic Fertilizers to supply to the local market. Over the years our organic fertilizers have established themselves as the most trusted products among farmers across the country.
To deepen our focus on agriculture after supplying the agriculture inputs of fertilizers, we also moved into rice milling and exports. Signature of Asia was set up in 2009 to operate the rice milling and exporting high quality Cambodian rice that our farmers have grown to market across Europe and Africa.
We will remain firmly rooted in Agri-related businesses and continue to expand and diversify into new areas of agriculture. At the same time our entrepreneurial instincts will definitely drive us into new and exciting opportunities such as affordable housing, renewables, foods, finance and more. However, whatever new businesses we are pursuing they will all be guided by our faith in making life and living better and fairer for every Cambodian.
